Abstract

HUBUNGAN ANTARA KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN KEMAMPUAN BERINTERAKSI SOSIAL SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 2 PACITAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015 MURDYASTUTI CHRISTIAYUNI Program Studi Bimbingan Dan Konseling Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah memang ada hubungan antarakecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan berinteraksi sosial siswaKelas VIII SMP N 2Pacitan Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian yang ditulis dalam bentuk skripsi berisi tentang apa yang diteliti secara lengkap, alasan peneliti, cara melakukan penelitian, hasil-hasil yang diperoleh dan kesimpulan dari penelitian tersebut. Isi dari penelitian disajikan secara lugas dan objektif, dan format untuk laporan penelitian tersebut cenderung baku mengikuti ketentuan dari perguruan tinggi atau suatu kelompok masyarakat akademik (STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2010: 19). Sesuai dengan namanya penelitian kuantitatif yaitu penelitian yang banyak dituntut menggunakan angka, mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran tetang data tersebut, serta penampilan dari hasilnya (Arikunto, 2006: 12). Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini 192 siswa, dan jumlah sampel 40 siswa. Uji validitas menggunakan rumus product moment dari Pearson, dan reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Spearman-Brown. Untuk analisis data menggunakan rumus product moment dari Pearson. Hasil data dari angket tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus product moment taraf signifikan 5 % yang kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan tabel rtabel , ternyata hasilnya adalah rhitung> rtabel (0,491>0,312). Itu artinya, ada hubungan antara kedua variabel di atas. Untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungannya, peneliti mengkonsultasikan ke dalam tabel interpretasi nilai r. Hasil konsultasi tabel interpretasi r menyatakan bahwa tingkat hubungan antara kedua variabel adalah Sedang. Jadi , hipotesis yang menyatakan ada hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan berinteraksi siswa di SMP Negeri 2 pacitan diterima. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Kemampuan Berinteraksi Sosial. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship of emotional antarakecerdasan with the ability to interact socially siswaKelas SMP N 2Pacitan academic year 2014 / 2015.Pendekatan research is quantitative research techniques. The study, written in the form of paper containing about what is studied in full, the reason researchers, how to do research, the results obtained and the conclusions of the study. The contents of the study are presented in a straightforward and objective, and the format for the raw research reports tend to follow the provisions of a college or a group of academic community (PGRI STKIP Pacitan, 2010: 19). As the name implies quantitative research is that many studies are required to use a number, ranging from data collection, interpretation of these data neighbor, as well as the appearance of the results (Arikunto, 2006: 12). The samples in this research using random sampling techniques. Total population in this study 192 students, and the sample size of 40 students. Test the validity of using the formula of Pearson product moment, and reliability using the Spearman-Brown formula. For the analysis of the data using the formula of Pearson product moment. Results of the data from the questionnaire were then analyzed using product moment formula significant level of 5% which is then consulted with rtabel table, the result is rhitung> rtabel (0.491> 0.312). That means, there is a relationship between two variables above. To determine the level of the relationship, the researchers consulted in interpretation table r value. Results interpretation table r consultation states that the level of relationship between the two variables is Medium. Thus, the hypothesis that there is a relationship of emotional intelligence with the ability to interact with students in Junior High School 2 pacitan accepted.
